Freeform Portland has some truly great programming. DJ Brzy’s on the porch, Center for Cassette Studies and Weekend Family Music Hour are some of my favorites.
K-Squid radio, 90.7 FM locally...and I do mean locally. Small signal (100 watts) that radiates from "The Real Surf City", Santa Cruz, California. Want to feel a Cali beach town vibe? It's here.
www.ksqd.org Try their "Relics & Psychedelics" program or Hawaiian music on Wednesdays.
What a great post! I recently moved to the Mesa Verde area and have been absolutely gobsmacked by the music and info coming from KSUT's tribalradio.org
it's like a college freeform station with an eclectic mix of DJs and music from all over the place, then add on several hours of native tribal music and the call-in show Native America Calling, and I can listen to it all day.
Concerzender.nl Internet radio from the Netherlands. Download their app. Amazing commercial-free radio, with stations devoted to Gregorian chant, Bach, World, "Orient Express," jazz, folk, ambient, movie soundtracks, contemporary classical, etc... Very high quality programming. My #1 choice. I'm even learning a little Dutch.
On The Wire is a weekly radio show that has been going for 38 years. Steve Barker plays the latest leftfield releases in electronica, ambient and dub/reggae.....and much much more!!!
I certainly love to play archival tracks from many Dust to Digital releases on my program, "Bluegrass, Etc." Thanks for making this fine music available! --Frank Hoppe, host
I know I'm late to the party here, but Alberta's beloved, donor-supported CKUA turned 95 about a week ago. More people need to know about the unicorn that is CKUA. https://ckua.com/
Lots of great suggestions here! I'd like to suggest WGXC, 90.7-FM in New York's Hudson Valley. We're a creative community radio station that's a division of the audio arts organization Wave Farm (formerly known as free103point9 in Brooklyn) and have been on the air for ten years now. My own show Snackpoint Charlie (I'm on the air tonight, in fact!) focuses primarily on international/outernational/experimental music, but our 70+ programmers cover the gamut of genres -- we even host a number of ex-WFMU programmers. You can listen online at wgxc.org, our Wave Farm smartphone app, and most shows are also available as podcasts.
Shout out to XRAY 107.1 & 91.1 FM in beautiful Portland, Oregon. Makes the weekends fly faster, but in a good way, with an incredible array of styles.
Looks good!
I'm sure y'all know about Arctic Outpost Radio - spinning 78s at the top of the world...

100 watts, wow! Those shows sound like a lot of fun!
Harvard's WHRB is just wonderful - hours upon hours of jazz, classical and non-mainstream pop - the kind of radio that hardly exists anymore.
That sounds great! Thanks Robert.
WWOZ New Orleans

Radio Garden is awesome!
I also like The Current out of Minneapolis (https://www.thecurrent.org/), and WSUM's Red Planet show. It airs from 12-2 Central time on Sundays. (https://wsum.org/)
